Housing and Development Properties (HDP), the real estate arm of the Housing and Development Bank, has officially signed a construction contract with Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) to commence the development of the residential components of Square One Exclusive Residences – SQ1 in New Cairo. Strategically located in the heart of El Choueifat, SQ1 offers a premium living experience, featuring fully finished luxury units with top-tier services. The project, which represents a modern lifestyle blending comfort and sophistication, is valued at EGP 1.7 billion. HDP has committed to delivering all units within 30 months—an ambitious promise that reflects both the company's solid financial standing and its commitment to delivering on client expectations, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s leading real estate developers. The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Amgad Hassanein, Vice Chairman of HDP; Eng. Mohamed Tarek, Regional Director of CCC Africa; Mr. Hossam Eissa, CEO of HDP; and Mr. Mahmoud Abdeen, Country Manager of CCC Egypt. Commenting on the partnership, Eng. Amgad Hassanein expressed his pride in collaborating with CCC—one of the world’s most respected construction firms, with over 70 years of experience globally and more than 30 years of successful operations in Egypt. He emphasized that this collaboration is a key step in HDP’s plan to deliver a high-quality, integrated residential experience, on time and in line with the company’s strategic vision. HDP has entrusted the architectural and design vision of SQ1 to MAK Architects (Mona Hussein, Karim El Assal, Ahmed Hussein), adding further value to the project with elegant, future-forward architecture and cutting-edge urban development practices that meet the highest international standards. SQ1 is designed to appeal to homebuyers and investors alike, offering a lifestyle defined by innovation, comfort, and luxury. Hassanein also highlighted HDP’s rapid growth—launching 8 real estate projects within just two years since its inception—and stated that the company plans to expand further in East and West Cairo as part of a broader strategy to develop exceptional, future-proof communities across Egypt. From CCC’s side, Eng.
